December 20, 2024: Houston, TX 77009 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the host Northside Panthers (Houston, TX), observed Austin's basketball team knock off Northside by a score of 76-61.
The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Furr (Houston, TX). The Brahmans come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Furr prevailed over North Forest (Houston, TX), 79-22, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 31. Northside will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record.
