In Friday's league contest, the host Bangs Dragons basketball team scored a good 59-45 triumph over the Winters Blizzards.

The Dragons (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Roscoe (Roscoe, TX). The Plowboys go into the 2A Region I District 8 contest with a 16-1 record. In their last contest, Roscoe topped Coleman (Coleman, TX), 47-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blizzards battle the Paint Rock Indians (Paint Rock, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Winters will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 79-23 league win over Panther Creek (Valera, TX).
