Minnesota High School Basketball - Deer River bests Barnum
December 20, 2024: Deer River, MN 56636 The Deer River Warriors basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Barnum Bombers to 60 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida for a A Section 7 game on Thursday, December 26. Deer River will play a Ogichida team coming off a 78-33 non-league win over Ogilvie (Ogilvie, MN). The Ogichida record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Barnum falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bombers host Braham (Braham, MN) to play the Bombers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Bombers go into the game with a record of 6-1. Braham lost 96-74 in their recent non-league game against Cherry (Iron, MN)
