December 20, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20905 Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD), 95-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Blake upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Bengals host Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 4-3. Paint Branch lost 61-50 in their recent non-league match against Flowers (Springdale, MD)
The Blazers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hope Academy Regional for a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. Blair will face a Tigers squad coming off a 74-51 league loss to Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-9.
