In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Blair Blazers basketball team scored a close 59-56 win over the Northwest Jaguars.

The Blazers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Cavaliers come into the Montgomery County - South test with a 11-5 record.

The Jaguars (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Screamin' Eagles come into the Montgomery County - West test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Seneca Valley held off Northwood (Silver Spring, MD), 67-44, in a non-league test.
