Maryland High School Basketball - Northwest holds off Poolesville

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Northwest Jaguars basketball team scored a close 59-54 triumph over the Poolesville Falcons.

The Jaguars (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD). The Trojans go into the Montgomery County - West contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Gaithersburg was tipped by Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD), 67-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons confront the Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) in a Montgomery County - North contest, on Friday, February 14.
