December 20, 2024: Sunbury, PA 17801 Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA), 63-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bloomsburg advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Panthers host Line Mountain (Herndon, PA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, December 23. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 5-3. Line Mountain won 47-40 in their recent non-league match against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA)
The Braves now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Columbia for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Shikellamy will meet a Bluejays squad coming off a 46-36 non-league win over Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Bluejays record now stands at 5-2.
