In Friday's non-league test, the Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA) basketball squad knocked off the host Borrego Springs Rams (Borrego Springs, CA), by a score of 45-35.

Next, the Redhawks encounter the Guajome Park Academy Frogs (Vista, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 10. Mountain Empire will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
