The Meridian Yellowjackets basketball squad (Meridian, TX), was nudged 35-31 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Bosqueville Bulldogs (Waco, TX)

With the victory, Bosqueville advances its record to 10-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Itasca (Itasca, TX) to meet the Wampus Cats in a 2A Region II District 12 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Wampus Cats enter the battle with a record of 12-4.

The Yellowjackets now own a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crawford for a 2A Region II District 12 battle on Tuesday, December 31.
