December 20, 2024: Burlington, NJ 08016 Burlington City Blue Devils (Burlington, NJ) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NJ), 65-61 in a league match.
With the victory, Burlington City advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Blue Devils host Maple Shade (Maple Shade, NJ) to face the Wildcats in a Burlco - Freedom match on Friday, December 27. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-2. Maple Shade lost 72-37 in their recent non-league match against Westampton Tech (Westampton, NJ)
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cinnaminson for a non-league match on Monday, December 23. Palmyra will face a Pirates squad coming off a 59-35 non-league loss to Camden Catholic (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
