In Friday's non-league contest, the host Pine Ridge Thorpes basketball team scored a good 48-36 triumph over the Custer Wildcats.

The Thorpes (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Comets go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Rapid City Christian topped Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD), 76-46, in a non-league contest.
