In Friday's league contest, the visiting East Mecklenburg Eagles basketball team scored a big 70-45 triumph over the Garinger Wildcats.

The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Victory Christian Center (Charlotte, NC). The Kings go into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Victory Christian Center smashed Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, NC), 76-49, in a league contest.
