Iowa High School Basketball - Lisbon overwhelms North Cedar
December 20, 2024: Lisbon, IA 52253 The Lisbon Lions basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting North Cedar Knights to 28 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Midland for a Tri-Rivers game on Friday, January 3. Lisbon will confront a Eagles team coming off a 70-23 non-league loss to Tipton (Tipton, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, North Cedar falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA) to confront the Irish in a Tri-Rivers game on Friday, January 3. The Irish go into the game with a record of 3-1.
