December 20, 2024: Magnolia, TX 77353 Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Tomball Cougars (Tomball, TX), 59-51 in a league match.
With the victory, Magnolia advances its record to 6-13 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 6A Region II District 15 match on Tuesday, December 31. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 4-16. Magnolia West lost 67-36 in their recent league match against Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX)
The Cougars now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waco for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Tomball will face a Lions squad coming off a 54-41 non-league win over Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Lions record now stands at 7-11.
