The Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA) basketball toppled the host Maricopa Indians (Maricopa, CA), 57-39 in Friday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lompoc for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 26. Valley Christian Academy will play a Braves team coming off a 53-40 non-league loss to Templeton (Templeton, CA). The Braves record now stands at 8-2.
