December 20, 2024: Claremont, NH 03743 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) and the host Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH), observed Newport's basketball team overwhelm Stevens by a score of 61-37.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH). The Huskies come into the Division III challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Monadnock trounced Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH), 58-43, in a league challenge.
