Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX), 64-55 in a league match.

With the victory, Ball upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Tornadoes host Texas City (Texas City, TX) to face the Stingarees in a 5A Region III District 20 match on Friday, January 3. The Stingarees enter the match with a record of 4-13.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Friendswood will face a Rangers squad coming off a 41-25 league loss to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 4-12.
