The Saguaro Sabercats basketball squad (Scottsdale, AZ), was nudged 40-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ)

With the victory, Horizon advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Huskies travel to Oregon City (Oregon City, OR) to meet the Pioneers in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. The Pioneers enter the battle with a record of 2-2. Oregon City won 67-19 in their recent non-league battle against Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, CA)

The Sabercats now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mesquite for a 4A Desert Sky battle on Tuesday, January 7. Saguaro will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 46-32 non-league win over West Linn (West Linn, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-1.
