The Saguaro Sabercats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Chaparral Firebirds to 49 in the Sabercats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sabercats now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Crismon for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. Saguaro will confront a Rattlers team coming off a 45-18 non-league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Chaparral falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ) to confront the Wolves in a 5A East Sky game on Tuesday, December 10. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 4-2. Desert Mountain lost 59-25 in their recent non-league game against Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ)
