The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA) and the host Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA), observed Washington-Wilkes's basketball team overcome Lake Oconee Academy by a margin of 40-29.

The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA). The Red Devils come into the A D2 Region 8 challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln County defeated Harlem (Harlem, GA), 48-39, in a non-league challenge.
