Virginia High School Basketball - Lightridge bests Westfield
December 20, 2024: Aldie, VA 20105 The Lightridge Bolts basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Westfield Bulldogs to 37 in the Bolts non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bolts now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Fairfax for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Lightridge will confront a Lions team coming off a 47-44 league loss to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Westfield falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA) to confront the Bruins in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 2-7. Forest Park lost 63-8 in their recent league game against Freedom (Woodbridge, VA)
