Virginia High School Basketball - Washington-Liberty routs Lightridge
December 28, 2024: Aldie, VA 20105 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals basketball team scored a big 59-35 triumph over the Lightridge Bolts.
The Generals (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Seton (Manassas, VA). The Conquistadors go into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Seton was trounced by Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA), 36-32, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bolts battle the Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Lightridge will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 57-48 non-league loss to Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA).
