In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ribault Trojans basketball team scored a close 55-48 win over the Rickards Raiders.

The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bolles (Jacksonville, FL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Bolles edged Fleming Island (Orange Park, FL), 60-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Fleming Island Golden Eagles (Orange Park, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Rickards will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 56-22 non-league win over Santa Fe (Alachua, FL).
