The Ashbrook Greenwave basketball squad (Gastonia, NC), was crushed 39-12 in Friday's non-league battle with the host South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC)

With the victory, South Point advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Red Raiders travel to Cox Mill (Concord, NC) to meet the Chargers in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Chargers enter the battle with a record of 2-2. Cox Mill lost 17-11 in their recent non-league battle against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)

The Greenwave now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forestview for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14.
