In Friday's non-league test, the Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH) basketball squad knocked off the visiting River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH), by a score of 60-52.

Next, the Whippets encounter the Norwalk Truckers (Norwalk, OH) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 23. Shelby will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Truckers come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 53-42 non-league loss to Keystone (La Grange, OH).
