The Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE) basketball edged the visiting Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE), 32-29 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Falcon now hold a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Point-Beemer for a non-league test on Monday, December 22. Douglas County West will clash with a Cadets squad coming off a 53-47 league loss to Wayne (Wayne, NE). The Cadets record now stands at 4-3.
