The Carthage Comets basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Indian River Warriors to 31 in the Comets league victory on Wednesday.

The Comets now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oswego for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27.

The Warriors (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Jefferson (Adams, NY). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.
