The Mt. Shasta Bears basketball team (Mt. Shasta, CA), was nudged 41-36 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA)

The Cardinals now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Molinos for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 5. Corning will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-48 non-league loss to Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-12.

The Bears (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against University Prep (Redding, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, University Prep was nudged by Enterprise (Redding, CA), 42-34, in a non-league battle.
