Florida High School Basketball - Northside Christian nips Gateway

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Northside Christian Mustangs (St. Petersburg, FL) and the visiting Gateway Eagles (Fort Myers, FL), saw Northside Christian's basketball squad hold off Gateway by a tally of 68-62.

With the victory, Northside Christian improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy (Melbourne, FL) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy won 76-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Mary (Lake Mary, FL)

Next up, the Eagles play the IMG Academy Black Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Gateway will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
