Florida High School Basketball - Canterbury topped by Northside Christian
December 28, 2022: St. Petersburg, FL 33709 The Northside Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Canterbury Cougars to 35 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plant for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Northside Christian will battle a Panthers team coming off a 69-60 non-league loss to Gateway Charter (Fort Myers, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.
The Cougars (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy (Melbourne, FL). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy was defeated by East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL), 71-59, in a non-league contest.
