December 21, 2022: Lafayette, LA 70508 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA), saw St. Thomas More's basketball squad hold off John Curtis Christian by a tally of 80-75.
With the victory, St. Thomas More improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Archbishop Rummel won 70-46 in their recent non-league challenge against White Castle (White Castle, LA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Holy Cross Tigers (New Orleans, LA) in a 5A District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. John Curtis Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.
