December 3, 2022: Lafayette, LA 70508 St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), 58-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Thomas More upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Madison Prep Academy won 53-41 in their recent non-league bout against Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA)
Next up, the Cowboys clash with the Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Southwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
