December 21, 2022: Longmont, CO 80501 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO) and the visiting Littleton Lions (Littleton, CO), saw Longmont's basketball squad wallop Littleton by a count of 60-28.
With the victory, Longmont upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Mead (Longmont, CO) to play the Mavericks in a 6A/5A/4A Northern challenge on Friday, January 6. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Mead won 50-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Silver Creek (Longmont, CO)
Next up, the Lions play the Wheat Ridge Farmers (Wheat Ridge, CO) in a 5A/4A Jeffco challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Littleton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Farmers come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 70-34 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Parker, CO).
