In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Ridgeland Panthers basketball team scored a close 56-50 victory over the Trion Bulldogs.

With the victory, Ridgeland improves its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) to confront the Warriors in a AAA Region 6 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.
