West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), 60-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Ashley upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Baptist Hill won 68-38 in their recent league bout against St. John's (John's Island, SC)

Next up, the Sharks play the Hanahan Hawks (Hanahan, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. St. James will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 76-42 non-league loss to South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC).
