Texas High School Basketball - Taft overwhelms Banquete

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) and the host Banquete Bulldogs (Banquete, TX), saw Taft's basketball squad wallop Banquete by a tally of 86-50.

With the victory, Taft improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Karnes City (Karnes City, TX) to confront the Badgers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Badgers come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Karnes City lost 75-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Dilley (Dilley, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the London Pirates (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Banquete will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record.
