The Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) basketball nipped the host Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA), 49-44 in Thursday's league test.

The Rams (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Portage (Portage, PA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Portage was tipped by Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA), 71-60, in a league test.

The Bisons now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Somerset for a Laurel Highlands test on Wednesday, January 3.
