Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) and the host Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA), saw Bishop McCort's basketball squad hold off Richland by a tally of 47-40.

With the victory, Bishop McCort improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Crushers travel to Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) to play the Hilltoppers in a Laurel Highlands challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Westmont Hilltop won 72-58 in their recent league challenge against Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Friday, January 26. Richland will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 74-58 league win over Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA).
