Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) and the visiting Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA), saw Chestnut Ridge's basketball squad overcome Bishop McCort by a tally of 68-49.

With the victory, Chestnut Ridge improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) to confront the Hilltoppers in a Laurel Highlands challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 7-2.
