Michigan High School Basketball - Canton Preparatory overwhelms Star International Academy
December 21, 2023: Canton, MI 48187 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Canton Preparatory Chargers (Canton, MI) and the visiting Star International Academy Falcons (Dearborn Heights, MI), saw Canton Preparatory's basketball squad wallop Star International Academy by a tally of 65-18.
With the victory, Canton Preparatory improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Taylor Prep (Taylor, MI) to confront the Tigers in a Michigan Metro challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Falcons confront the Chavez Academy Aztec Eagles (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Metro challenge, on Monday, January 8. Star International Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Aztec Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 44-41 league loss to Merritt Academy (New Haven, MI).
