High Point Baptist Academy Eagles (Geigertown, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lancaster County Christian Lions (Lancaster, PA), 48-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, High Point Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Covenant Christian Academy (Harrisburg, PA) to play the in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The come into the bout with a record of 1-6.

Next up, the Lions play the Veritas Academy Monarch (Leola, PA) in a Commonwealth Christian - Central bout, on Friday, January 5. Lancaster County Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
