The Sailors now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Siletz Valley for a 1A Mountain West battle on Wednesday, January 3. Mapleton will confront a team coming off a 69-35 non-league loss to Gaston (Gaston, OR). The record now stands at 1-7.
The Warriors (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Rogue Valley Adventist (Medford, OR). The Red Tail Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Rogue Valley Adventist was overwhelmed by North Lake (Silver Lake, OR), 42-40, in a league battle.
