New Mexico High School Basketball - Reserve overwhelmed by Melrose
December 21, 2023: Melrose, NM 88124 The Melrose Buffaloes basketball team scored 84 points and restricted the visiting Reserve Mountaineers to 21 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Thursday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eunice for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Melrose will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 60-17 non-league win over Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-3.
The Mountaineers (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Demons come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Dexter was routed by Eunice (Eunice, NM), 60-17, in a non-league contest.
