Virginia High School Basketball - Nansemond River trounces Warhill
December 21, 2023: Williamsburg, VA 23188 The Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) basketball crushed the host Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA), 67-34 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Warriors (6-1) will now prepare for their test against J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, J.F. Webb was trounced by Louisburg (Louisburg, NC), 53-41, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Grafton for a Bay Rivers test on Wednesday, January 3. Warhill will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 58-48 non-league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Clippers record now stands at 6-1.
