Riverstone International Otters (Boise, ID) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Star Huskies (Eagle, ID), 53-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverstone International upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Otters host Rimrock (Bruneau, ID) to clash with the Raiders in a 1A I Western Idaho bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-6.

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Compass Charter Aviators (Meridian, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho bout, on Tuesday, January 9. North Star will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Aviators go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 63-54 non-league win over Idaho City (Idaho City, ID).
