Virginia High School Basketball - Salem nipped by Western Branch

The Western Branch Bruins tipped the visiting Salem Sundevils basketball team by a final score of 67-61 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 27. Western Branch will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 7-2 record after their 57-47 league win over Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA).

With the defeat, Salem moves to 5-3 on the year. The Sundevils host Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA) to face the Chiefs in a Beach game on Friday, January 5. The Chiefs enter the game with a record of 5-3.
