The Indian River Braves basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Western Branch Bruins to 49 in the Braves league victory on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nansemond River for a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, January 23.

The Bruins (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Thomas Dale prevailed over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA), 55-51, in a league contest.
