In Thursday's non-league outing, the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) basketball squad edged the visiting South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE), by a margin of 45-44.

The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Perkins County (Grant, NE). The Plainsmen go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Perkins County held off Hyannis (Hyannis, NE), 48-38, in a non-league outing.
