Iowa High School Basketball - West Monona crushes Storm Lake St. Mary
December 21, 2023: Onawa, IA 51040 West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers (Storm Lake, IA), 100-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Monona upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Logan-Magnolia won 55-48 in their recent league bout against IKM/Manning (Manning, IA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Storm Lake St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
