The Taft Wildcats basketball team (Taft, CA), was nudged 53-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Templeton Eagles (Templeton, CA)

The Eagles now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Luis Obispo for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 23. Templeton will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-62 non-league win over Righetti (Santa Maria, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-5.
